Merry Hearts

We have spent the last couple of days on a 2 day retreat on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. It’s been a refreshing change of pace. But I will talk more about that tomorrow. I will share highlights from both retreat days in the next post. You will have to wait with bated breath.

For now, I thought I might share more of a “scenes that were cut from the movie” sort of thing. This one features one of our Tour Guides, Isaac. Each bus on our journey has 2 bus captains and a tour guide. The tour guides are sort of like University Professors – experts in their field trying to increase our knowledge base whereas the Bus captains are more like Primary school teachers on recess duty – keeping everyone on the grounds and attempting to maintain order.

We’ve learned a lot on this trip and had some rich and meaningful moments…but we’ve also had a fair amount of fun. We’ve tried to give you a glimpse of both in these daily blogs. Today’s video leans heavily toward the “fun” part.

“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine” – Proverbs 17:22

Thanks for following our journey.

Until next time,
Shalom
